What is Days of Change

The time has come for us all to take personal action on climate change by making simple changes to the way we live every day. During August 2009, every person in York will be asked to commit to these changes by taking the Days of Change pledge.

The process by which individuals take action to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions can be summarized in four simple steps. Click on each step to find out more.

Supported by the power of electronic marketing and social networking, the Days of Change program is expected to engage the community and cut emissions on a scale never before seen in Western Australia.

Expansion through the global reach of the Rotary International organisation will see the program expand to all of Western Australia in 2010, the remainder of Australia in 2011 and then to the world in 2012, with our goal for that year to reach 100 million peoplewith 16 million people actively involved. This will contribute to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions of more than 2.5 million tonnes.
